Publix is a good grocery chain and their stores are very well run. But, you can buy groceries pretty much anywhere. It’s the people that work in the stores that really matter and make the shopping experience. While shopping in this store, I was greeted with a big smile and a cheerful hello by a wonderful employee, Cassandra. I spoke with her about how much her smile and heartfelt greeting meant to me and thanked her. She made the start of my day so much better!

Tonight we went to the Monza location. As we proceeded to put our items the cashier was chatting with another cashier- we waited for her to finish her conversation- standing there waiting for her to start scanning the items. While I was paying my husband had started bagging and I started to help him- as she watched us. I asked her if there was anyone to help- she replied they were short staffed. I then asked if she could help us- she replied she was in a hurry and could not. I told her-if you help us bag you’ll be able to help the next person quicker, since you say you are in a hurry. She rolled her eyes at me.
I called the manager and explained- hopefully this will be addressed.
This girl- young, long black hair wearing black glasses should not be in the front of the store taking care of customers.

Terrible service at hot food section. Waited to be served for about 10 minutes. No one ever came and asked if i needed help, I eventually left. The staff behind the counter were mad at each other and arguing in front of customers. 0/10

Everything was going well until we got to checkout , we went to the lane for 10 items or less. Cashier never greeted us and then she told us to put the hand basket on the table, my friend was a little confused and she repeated it again with a higher tone and nasty attitude. That was very bad customer service on her end and should not speak to paying customers in that manner. When she was done checking me out she never gave me my receipt and I said thank you but she stayed silent. Please teach your workers basic customer service. Would definitely not be returning.

We like Publix and usually go to the Brickell village one! This one is on our way home during weekdays and I thought to pick up chicken tenders sandwiches for dinner! I ordered online because didn’t want my kids to wait a while at 830 at night! The first time I ordered about two hours ahead and was there on time for 830 pick up. Ended up waiting additional 20 mins while the lady made our sandwiches and complained to her co worker how bad this idea of online ahead of time ordering is and they should stop doing it while I was right there waiting!
The second time was last night and that’s where they made it very clear they don’t like us ordering ahead! When I got there for 830 pick up she looked at me and asked if I was Sara and said I’d have to wait! She gave us our order after waiting about 15 mins!
The sandwiches were NOTHING like we had ever experienced! Grossly made!
Messaged received loud and clear! Will never go back to this Publix!!! It’s a shame…

really like this Publix. It is clean and well-organized. I also love that it has a park next to it. If you have children, you can leave them with their father while you enjoy your shopping.
