This small Publix serves the Downtown St Pete crowd, who mostly live in high rises, and support the local venues. Fresh produce, deli with made to order sandwiches (Boars head is an option), soup bar, fried chicken. The aisles are wide but several contain those small displays in the aisle that make moving through the place challenging when they are busy. The coffee machine offers a few self-serve options. There is even room for a high top tabel to stop for a bite to eat. Everything (except the high top table) is wheelchair accessible, including the clean bathrooms. Note that the aisle displays can present a wheelchair challenge. Street parking is available in the next blocks. Second story parking is free, with access to store by elevator or escalator. Even a cart escalator, a fun time for kids to watch. As in all Publix, employees help get purchases to your car. This small store offers just about every thing needed to live DTSP (DownTown St Pete).

Hey guys, I love this Publix and all but someone might be trying to pull some shady business with the Butter Baby! I could see if it was just one package, but TWO "mysteriously" crossed-off expired dates?! C'mon y'all...

Efficient. This location doesn't have a lot of the selections that other Publix stores. However, an awesome hot to go department by the produce dept. Easy parking and unloading. Elevators and covered parking are good for weather and easy store access! Great! But, limited.

I came to this publix Sunday with my family after hurricane Milton service was phenomenal up until I got ready to check out I went to purchase my items and the cashier by the name of Taysha H. Informed me I couldn't do a manual entry so I asked. for more information being that my family and I were in there the day before and was successful with purchasing our items manually she proceeds to catch an attitude and says she doesn't care what I was talking about and no there wasn't a manager available so my fiance handed her cash to pay in the process the guy who bagged the groceries asked if we still wanted the ice I told him no we will just go somewhere else since I couldnt use my card I didn't have the extra cash... she butted in raising her voice waving our money around saying are you getting it or not a customer standing behind her (later I found out was her sibling ) joins in the conversation to insult me and call me names this was the worst experience I had ever in my life I go to Publix to avoid the unprofessionalism of the competitor markets I go to Publix because most experiences are great ones but to be belittle and treated so terribly in front of my children and fiance after handing Taysha H. money just to have my change thrown back at me is absurd after spending $65 that was the customer service I received the lines wasn't long I wasn't holding her up I just wanted a simple explanation or to be directed to customer service instead I got attitude and disrespect not just by the employee but her sister who was a customer in her line as well

I love that the parking is free and the stores always clean. It is hard to find things in the store because of the way it's organized. I wish they would move around the aisles better.

Karen, the cashier was great, very nice, and it made my day. I am from out of town, and her service was wonderful. The store was clean. Love the parking garage. Thank you.

If you're in the mood for an experience that transcends the mere act of ordering a sandwich and delves into the realm of existential patience, then look no further than the Publix Deli. Picture this: you place your order online, give them a generous 45 minutes, and arrive, hungry and hopeful, only to find that your sandwich seems to have entered some sort of quantum state of nonexistence.

Ah, the employees! They glide around with the urgency of a sloth on a Sunday stroll. They move with such deliberate leisure that you begin to suspect they've uncovered the secret to time travel and are savoring every millisecond. You stand at the counter, your stomach growling in protest, watching as they chat about the latest TikTok trends or ponder the mysteries of life, all while your sandwich components languish in the background, unassembled and unloved.

It's like an avant-garde performance art piece: "The Art of Doing Everything Except Making Your Sandwich." The anticipation builds as you watch them slice meats with the precision of a sculptor and arrange lettuce as if it were a delicate bonsai tree. Yet somehow, despite all this meticulous care, your sandwich remains a distant dream.

After what feels like an eternity (or precisely 15 minutes past the time the sandwich was supposed to be made), you receive —a sandwich that, ironically, was probably thrown together in the last 30 seconds before they noticed you glaring with the intensity of a thousand suns. You leave, clutching your belated lunch, having aged at least a year in deli time.

So, if you have an abundance of free time and enjoy the thrill of waiting, by all means, visit Publix Deli. For everyone else, bring a book, a blanket, and maybe some snacks for the wait. You'll need them.
